What is the TFEA?
The Tinton Falls Education Association (TFEA) is made up of the teachers, secretaries, nurses, child study team members, school counselors, media specialists, and paraprofessionals of the Tinton Falls School District. We have approximately 200 members in our organization. Active members of the Association are also members of the Monmouth County Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association and the National Education Association.
The Tinton Falls Education Association works for the welfare of school children, the advancement of public education and the improvement of instructional opportunities for all. The TFEA also advances the professional rights, status, and responsibilities of its members. We represent our members in negotiations and grievances with the School Board on all matters pertaining to the contract between the TFEA and the Tinton Falls Board of Education. In addition, the TFEA strives to foster open communication and cooperation with the community.
Our mission, like that of the NJEA, is to advance and protect the rights, benefits and interests of members and promote a quality system of public education for all students.
